What you’ll be doing
We currently have two full-time Exchange Coordinator vacancies within our Parts team.
- One role supports our Weipa branch and will be based in Cairns.
- The second role supports both our Rockhampton and Mackay branches and can be based in either location.
Both positions are full-time, working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
In this role you will:
- Ensure relevant files and systems are updated daily
- Transactions are carried out providing all details necessary
- Manage and determine component supply options to meet customer requirements by considering available inventory, existing reservations, components under repair and outstanding cores
- Timely inspection and credit of all Service Department Cat Reman return cores
- Follow up on quotations is carried out with customers and progress reported
- Minimize component cycle times through proactive engagement and follow up on outstanding and aged rebuilds
- Identify the requirements for additional inventory where appropriate
- Timely inspection and credit of all HD Reman return cores
- Timely inspection and credit of all Service Department Cat Reman return cores

About you:
A successful teammate will have:
- Previous industry experience in heavy machinery, mining, building or construction
- Proficient in Microsoft AX
- Mechanical trade or mechanical aptitude and a current Forklift Ticket (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in Caterpillar parts, warehouse, and dispatch systems will be highly regarded
- Ability to work autonomously and proven planning skills to manage workloads and timeframes
- An acute awareness for detail and an ability to identify visual damage and inspection experience
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to communicate and engage effectively with internal and external key stakeholders and or departments
